Sunrise or sunset? Day 15 Caroline’s sunrise photo and health challenge

Sunrise or sunset? Which one do you think it is in all these photos below? It is not always obvious. Don’t let the title of the article to confuse you. Caroline’s sunrise photo and health challenge is not only about taking sunrise photo. When there is raining or cloudy day and the sun is hiding, we can use any old photo, do the health part of the challenge and write all about our experience with the challenge. So today, I am not going to tell you what time I took these pictures. It may be sunrise or it may be sunset. What would you guess? Let me know in comments .

All pictures in this article were taken with my phone, I was taking them from airplane.

Ireland from plane: Landing or departure? Sunrise or sunset? What do you think?

It was very hard to choose one image. Try it too and tell me which one from the 4 photos below is the best. I just can’t stop looking at them all.

The window was quite dirty and at this point I wanted to get outside and clean it. The photos may not be perfect but I enjoyed the little photoshoot a lot. Sometimes photography is about the happy moments when you are capturing one amazing event that happened in your life. Watching the sun and its magic from plane was truly amazing experience.

I read that sunrise and sunset photos should have the horizon straight, horizontally perfect. I think this photo has something magical even without following the rule.

Exercise of the day:

Maybe you have noticed that I skipped notes about my exercise in some of my articles about my days of Caroline’s sunrise photo and health challenge. I just do the same exercise everyday to improve my back and some walk , so there is no much of different things to write about. I have been thinking about doing something more radical, something more effective on my health, some exercise that will make big difference in my lifestyle. Well adding something like that into my daily schedule is not easy so you will hear all about it soon on my blog.

Join us in Caroline’s sunrise photo and health challenge, have fun with the sun, discover the beauty of the nature and experience something new during your morning walks to capture sunrise.

The rules of the challenge are wide open, you can pick your own goals, do it in your own time and even focus on the health part and use old photos.

Have a look at the list of goals and more details about Caroline’s sunrise photo and health challenge in the introduction article.

  2. Beautiful photos! My guess is sunset. Among those four photos i love the third from the left. I relate so well with you. It is so hard to choose which is the best because everything looks best in its in own way. I too have so many photos in my file because they say we have to take many and select only the best. But how can we, when all looks best? I have a hard time deleting some myself. Thank you so much for those photos. Seldom we see sunrise or sunset up in the air.

Amazing photos from the plane with your phone. Very clear. My guess that it’s a sunset. The blue in the sky seems it has been light for a while like it looks like in the day time…but you can never really tell 😀 I agree, the horizon does not need to always be straight horizontally. The clouds in the last shot look like a magic carpet in the sky. So fluffy, so soft. Hope you had a great trip, Petra 🙂

Lovely pictures Petra! Especially loved the ‘Ireland from plane’ picture, Though I am not able to tell from the pictures if it is sunrise or sunset, I have a feeling it could be sunrise given your love for clicking sunrise pictures 🙂

  6. Thank you everyone for the comments and for quessing. The tips so far are 3x sunset and 1x sunrise. Here is the true about these pictures: It is sunset 🙂 Yeah. I took all the photos from a plane when I traveled from the Czech Republick back to Ireland. Ireland welcomed me with beautiful sunset.
